The African Hospitality Group (AHG) is an American company, specifically focusing in the Sub-Saharan region, of the African continent. Through the acquisition of existing or new construction and development, AHG is a self-managed real estate and hotel investment, operating hotels and properties throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

AHG’s hotels and/or properties are located in markets in which we have extensive experience. These markets exhibit multiple demand generators, and are as follows: businesses and corporate headquarters; airports and tourist attractions; and robust retail centers. AHG’s targeted locations are in the top metropolitan statistical areas (MSA), and/or in different countries. AHG focuses exclusively on acquiring and owning premium-branded, limited-service, and/or select-service hotels. The range is upscale to midscale, with or without food and beverage segments, in the Sub-Saharan African lodging industry.

As most of these African countries are deficient in decent hotel accommodations within or near airports, AHG plans to make it a “special niche” to have hotels within or nearby major airports.

The majority of AHG’s hotels will be operated under premium franchise brands; however, AHG is very open to other major and/or boutique brands. The major brands AHG is currently working with are as follows: Marriott International, Inc. (Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn by Marriott or Residence Inn by Marriott), HILTON Worldwide (Hilton, Doubletree or Hilton Garden Inn), Starwood Hotels, Rezidor Brands (Radisson Blu and Radisson) and Best Western Hotels. Other major brands are expressing an interest and AHG is currently exploring those opportunities.
